Flying Abroad During COVID: What Can You Expect?

Believe it or not, it is possible to travel (mostly) safely during the COVID pandemic. It’s not easy, it’s not cheap, and it’s not for everyone, but if travel is in your blood, it’s totally possible.

But you might be curious: Are airports safe? What does social distancing look like on the plane?

This vlog documents my experience flying through 4 different airports, 3 countries, and one heck of a trip getting from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport to Franjo Tudman Airport in Zagreb.

Flight #1: Seattle (SEA) -> Newark (EWR), Alaska Airlines

Flight #2: Newark (EWR) -> Frankfurt (FRA), United Airlines

Flight #3: Frankfurt (FRA) -> Zagreb (ZAG), Croatia Airlines

And if you’re wondering what crossing the Croatian border looks like, check out my post: Flying into Zagreb, Croatia During COVID
