Hi, I’m Karina. An explorer with an insatiable amount of curiosity and incredible bad luck when it comes to weather. Needless to say, I’ve never camped dry.

An obsession with the ocean has brought me to the point where I can give a ted talk about most ocean subjects at the drop of a hat. Stay tuned.
I’ve also got a serious case of wanderlust, having been bitten by the travel bug at the young age of 13. I studied abroad 3x at uni.

I love to travel in weird circumstances. Cold, wet weather is my favourite. Whether I’m snorkeling on a reef, climbing a mountain, or just trying to stay dry in the middle of a storm camped out on a riverbed, I’m happy to be out there.
